On, the two buildings were officially opened by Sir David Attenborough. The windows fog easily, and if you're unlucky like I was you'll have a window right next to the bed that has no curtain. Same issue with the fridge and freezer space. Nothing was set up to equally divide cupboard space, it was take what you can get, which meant my cupboard was under the oven, leading to my food spoiling quicker. The Kitchen space is awful for the amount of people, if one person doesn't wash up you lose a huge chunk of your counter space. You have all the noise from Hampden, Byron and your own flat to deal with all night long.Īlmost every room grew mould at some point in the year, which staff blamed on leaving windows closed after showering - I never closed mine. Sandby Hall is perfect if you like nightlife and socializing.
